Major Responsibilities and Duties:

1.

Analyze district needs as outlined by the Windham School District administration regarding detailed data processing equipment requirements and capabilities.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
2.
|
Analyze proposed automated data processes in terms of resources and cost justification.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
3.
|
Document existing and proposed computer applications.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
4.
|
Develop automated systems.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
5.
|
Code, prepare test data, test, debug programs, and maintain complex applications.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
6.
|
Monitor and assist in the evaluation, maintenance and application development.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
7.
|
Document procedures used in the development and revision of computer programs.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
8.
|
Analyze, review, and revise programs to increase operating efficiency.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
9.
|
Monitor computer system performance to achieve maximum utilization of system software and hardware.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
10.
|
Research and review trade journals and information sources for current developments in computer software and equipment.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
11.
|
Assist in the training of other Information Technology employees as assigned by the Supervisor.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
12.
|
Performs other duties as assigned.
|
|
|

Maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information received in the performance of the job duties.

Perform duties in a professional manner through daily, punctual attendance at location of work assignment.

1. Education and experience meet the minimum qualifications for the next level as established by
the position description.
2. Mid-year reviews have been conducted.
3. Satisfactory or better annual performance evaluation.
